The Parable of the Net

Matthew 13:47-52. The Kingdom of God is likened to a net that is thrown into the sea and it gathered everything of every kind. When it was full, they drew it on shore and premium the good fish from the bad. The good ones were put on the ships but the bad ones were thrown away. This tells us that at the end of the world, this is what will happen. The just shall be separated from the wicked and led on to eternal life with their Lord and Savior. The wicked will go on into the eternal furnace of fire where they will burn forever.

Jesus went on to say that whoever has been called to be a scribe or a preacher of the Gospel is like a householder who brings forth from his treasure new and old things. This is to say that God will use you to look old and new mysteries of the Kingdom of God.

As a child of God, we should ask for wisdom and knowledge in understanding exactly what is the will of God in our lives. Lets pray that God may open our spiritual eyes and stop stumbling colse to blindly. May he recap through us who he no ifs ands or buts is and what his word no ifs ands or buts means to us. When we read the Bible, may we get the true intended understanding from God. Lets not go through the word of God like a novel but may we study and feed on it everyday. As a result, we shall come to be giants of faith who cannot be brought down by anything the devil throws at us.
